The hotel is surrounded by historic reminders of the Byzantine Empire. Byzantine and Ottoman Monuments such as St. Sophia and the Basilica Cistern are close by. Other cultural highlights, including the Hippodrome, Turkish Carpet Museum, Spice Bazaar, Cemberlitas Hamami (Turkish Bath) and the Cağaloğlu Bath, are very easily reached on foot.

Blue Mosque (100 metres) - one of Istanbul's biggest mosques, built in 17th century and one of the principal adornments on the city's skyline. Famous for its blue tiles and 6 minarets.
